Class will start with a gentle asana led by Maha El Sheikh (Maha) to get your juices flowing and prepare the body for the deep experience of yoga through sound led by Zena

Nāda Yoga means “union through sound” and the sacred science of meditation on sound is a universal path to Self realization, accessible to anyone, and appropriate for people of any religion and spiritual aspiration. Zena will take you on a journey to explore the Heart of Sound. There is no end and no beginning, only a plunge into the beautiful light of your true voice. Music and mantra emerge from the same source and together we will open your heart and tune your soul, so that the light within pours out onto everyone you meet. Through vocal toning and Sanskrit Vedic chanting, we will reconnect to the part of you that was never born and can never die, immersing yourself in the rapture of your own personal song to discover the sound of ongoing creation- the eternal and boundless love. Despite your surroundings and the daily cacophony that Beirut delivers, we will touch upon developing a grounding and simple daily practice, the sacred union between outer and deeper life, that is both uplifting as well as healing.
“People say that on hearing the song, the soul entered into the body, but in reality the soul itself was song.” – Hafiz
